Junior Buyer

We are looking for a motivated Junior Buyer to join our Procurement function and support day-to-day procurement activities.

This role focuses on the buying of goods and services, ensuring efficient procurement processes, supplier coordination, and compliance with company policies.

You will gain exposure to sourcing, supplier management, and procurement best practices, building a strong foundation for a career in strategic procurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, process, and track purchase orders (POs)

• Support sourcing activities (RFQs, supplier comparisons, basic negotiations)

• Communicate with suppliers regarding orders, pricing, delivery timelines and payment status

• Monitor order fulfillment to ensure timely delivery and service quality

• Maintain supplier records, pricing data, and procurement systems

• Support contract administration and compliance with procurement policies

• Assist in resolving invoice and delivery discrepancies

• Contribute to spend tracking, reporting, and data accuracy

• Support vendor performance monitoring and SLA tracking

• Apply procurement best practices in sourcing, inventory control, and supplier selection

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, or related field

• 1–5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or administrative roles

• As English is the primary business language, fluency in spoken and written English is required.

• Basic understanding of procurement principles and processes

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Good communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

• Working knowledge of Excel (data entry, basic analysis)

• Familiarity with ERP/procurement tools (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Ariba, Coupa) is a plus

• Proactive, curious, and eager to learn
