Summary

We are looking for a Senior QA Performance Engineer to lead performance and non-functional quality initiatives across APIs, distributed systems, and cloud-native platforms. You will be responsible for designing and executing enterprise-grade performance testing strategies, building scalable testing frameworks, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, and resilience of applications running on Azure, AKS, Kubernetes, and Linux environments.

This role is ideal for a hands-on performance engineer who combines strong technical expertise with a quality-first mindset and enjoys collaborating with Development, DevOps, Product, and SRE teams.

Required

• 5+ years of experience, including Performance Testing, Performance Engineering, or QA Engineering ideally within distributed systems or microservices environments.

• Experience testing both frontend applications and backend APIs/services.

• Hands-on experience with:

  • k6, JMeter, Locust, or similar performance testing tools

  • Robot Framework

  • Grafana, Prometheus

  • Jenkins, GitHub

  • Linux, Bash scripting

  • Azure, AKS, Kubernetes

  • API testing and automation

• Strong understanding of microservices, cloud-native architectures, CI/CD, Agile, DevOps, TDD, BDD, and Continuous Testing.

• Experience with performance, stress, scalability, regression, availability, and resilience testing.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.

Nice to Have

• OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, Tempo, or other tracing platforms.

• GitHub Actions and Infrastructure-as-Code experience.

• Service Mesh and advanced Kubernetes networking knowledge.

• Experience in Financial Services, FinTech, Banking, or Payments.

• Cloud cost optimization experience.

• JavaScript scripting skills.
