    Job description

Do you enjoy developing high-performance software in modern C++? Are you passionate about working with Embedded Linux in an Agile environment?

We have an exciting opportunity in our Device Platform team at Trackman, where we are growing rapidly to develop, produce, and deploy our market-leading sports tracking solutions.

    The Role

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join a highly skilled team developing the core platforms for our next-generation and existing products. Our platform spans multiple sports, with new products frequently added as part of Trackman's rapid growth. In this role, you will take a leading position in the design, development, and optimization of software where stability, performance, and real-time execution are paramount.

We operate in a fast-paced, collaborative Agile/Scrum environment, meaning you will have a direct impact on our development processes, sprint goals, and architectural choices.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Design & Develop: Architect, implement, and maintain high-performance embedded software for current and future products using modern C++.

    • Optimize & Test: Ensure exceptional performance, reliability, testability, and maintainability of code running on Embedded Linux.

    • Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies, collaborating closely with hardware engineers, tracking developers, and product managers in a cross-functional setup.

    • Linux Platform Work: Contribute to Linux kernel configuration, device tree modifications, and custom driver development.

    • Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in C++ developing, optimizing, and debugging resource-constrained embedded systems.

    • Modern C++: Strong familiarity with modern C++ standards, specifically including C++20 coroutines for efficient asynchronous patterns.

    • Embedded Linux: Deep understanding of Linux kernel configuration, device tree modifications, and driver development.

    Advantageous Experience

    • FPGA development or interfacing application software with FPGAs

    • Working within an Agile/Scrum framework.

    • GStreamer, libargus or other camera pipelines.

    The Office

We are located at DTU Science Park in Hørsholm. We take great pride in the state-of-art building we have designed! The office features bright meeting rooms, coffee areas to catch up with colleagues, a large testing arena with simulators available for employees and a fitness center, everything surrounded by a beautiful forest and respecting the environment. We made sure to utilize the newest technologies to be energy efficient and be mindful of ventilation and sound propagation. The cherry on top is our canteen: with an indoor and outdoor area to enjoy the fresh food prepared by our own kitchen staff.

Join the home of a powerful sports brand and a one-of-a-kind technology

Our proprietary technology is based on expert knowledge about radar, computer vision, data, and software engineering. Our solutions are developed by specialists who endlessly explore and challenge new technical boundaries. Trackman’s blend of cutting-edge technology, sports, and continued growth make our company an outstanding place to work.

Our work culture is entrepreneurial, ambitious, and rewarding as you get to collaborate with inspiring colleagues and interact with the leaders of golf, baseball, and football. Based on a unique brand reputation, we are proud to work in close partnership with the top athletes, organizations, and teams that rely on our technology to stay ahead of the race.

We are a Danish company founded, owned, and managed since 2003 by three entrepreneurs with a strong passion for sports. Today, we have a global footprint with our headquarters located in Denmark (Hørsholm) and offices in New York, Phoenix, Seoul and Tokyo. We employ over 1000+ people worldwide, half of which work in Denmark, where most hardware and software products are developed, tested, and manufactured.
