Senior/Inter Android Dev - Motors

As a Senior Android Developer, you’ll play a key role in building and refining high-quality native mobile experiences for millions of Kiwis. You will ensure our apps are delivered with quality, at pace, and with care. Here is what you can expect from this role:

• Build native Android applications using modern technologies (Kotlin/Java) to give mobile users a world-class experience 
• Mentor and coach less experienced members of the team (Senior level) 
• Take innovative approaches and lead research to keep our mobile platforms at the forefront 
• Contribute across all phases of the development lifecycle, from ideation to testing 
• Uphold quality standards by implementing manual, functional, and UI automated tests 
• Collaborate within mobile guilds to learn, share knowledge, and support squad goals

What you will bring to our team:

• Proven experience in native Android development using Kotlin or Java 
• 3+ years (Intermediate) or 5+ years (Senior) experience in mobile development roles 
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies 
• Strong architecture design awareness and ability to deliver large, complex features 
• An eye for detail to make our Android experience faster, reliable, and maintainable 
• A collaborative mindset with strong initiative, organisation, and adaptability
