We’re looking for an experienced Ocean Import & Export Pricing Analyst to join our team in Bogotá.
If you have strong experience in Ocean Freight Pricing, understand FCL and LCL, and know how to build competitive solutions by analyzing rates, routings, transit times, and carrier options, we’d like to hear from you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Manage a high volume of Ocean Import & Export quote requests
- Prepare competitive pricing for FCL and LCL shipments
- Source and compare rates from steamship lines, NVOCCs, and overseas partners
- Work with direct carrier contracts, negotiated rates, and ocean freight rating tools
- Analyze rates, routings, transit times, schedules, surcharges, free days, and other commercial conditions
- Identify the best solutions based on cost, transit time, reliability, and customer requirements
- Support pricing for Project Cargo and special shipments when required
- Work closely with Sales, Operations, carriers, and international partners to provide timely and accurate pricing solutions
- Manage multiple quote requests while maintaining accuracy and meeting tight deadlines
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in Ocean Freight, preferably with a strong focus on pricing and quoting
- Solid experience with both Ocean Import and Ocean Export
- Strong knowledge of FCL and LCL pricing, routings, and operations
- Experience sourcing and/or negotiating rates directly with ocean carriers, NVOCCs, or overseas partners
- Ability to manage a high volume of quotations in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Ocean Freight rating tools and carrier platforms
- CargoWise experience is highly preferred
- CargoSphere experience is a plus
- Experience quoting Project Cargo is a plus
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced English and confidence communicating with international stakeholders
