Position Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to support our Kazakhstan finance operations. The role is responsible for reviewing accounting transactions transferred from QuickBooks Online (QBO) to 1C, maintaining payroll accounting records, processing electronic tax invoices through ESF, and preparing Acts of Acceptance for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and verify accounting transactions transferred from QBO to 1C.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between accounting systems.
- Record payroll-related accounting entries in 1C.
- Prepare and finalize electronic tax invoices in ESF.
- Generate and manage Acts of Acceptance (Acts of Completed Services).
- Reconcile accounting records and maintain supporting documentation.
- Support month-end closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with Kazakhstan accounting and tax requirements.
- Assist with audits, reporting, and finance process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience.
- Practical experience with 1C Accounting.
- Experience with ESF and Kazakhstan tax invoicing requirements.
- Experience with payroll accounting is preferred.
- CAP, CIPA, Professional Accountant of Kazakhstan, DipIFR, ACCA, or similar certification is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
