KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Air Freight Operations
- Coordinate import and export air cargo activities at the airport terminal between airlines, terminal warehouse, customs, delivery/pickup trucks.
- Monitor cargo arrival, breakdown, buildup, and delivery schedules
- Supervise and ensure cargo is loaded/unloaded to delivery/pickup trucks according to FIATA rules
Coordination & Communication
- Act as the primary point of contact between:
- Airlines
- Terminal warehouse
- Customs
- Delivery/pickup trucks
- Trans Globe internal operations
- Communicate shipment status updates to internal teams
Documentation & Compliance
- Ensure document handling at the airport terminal between airlines, terminal warehouse, customs, delivery/pickup trucks, Trans Globe internal operations and customer's representatives.
- Support inspections and audits when required.
Problem Solving & Escalation
- Identify operational issues such as:
- Cargo damage
- Missing or delayed shipments
- Documentation errors
- Escalate critical issues promptly to Trans Globe internal operations and coordinate corrective actions
Safety & Quality
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and security standards at the terminal
- Support continuous improvement of terminal handling processes
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Aviation, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in air freight, freight forwarding, or airport cargo operations
- Understanding of air freight operations and airport terminal processes
- Knowledge of basic customs procedures
- Coordination and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a time-sensitive environment
- Organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with freight forwarding systems (e.g., Logitude, CargoWise, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Based primarily at Tashkent airport cargo terminal
