As we build more tools used directly by traders, we are looking for a Business Analyst with strong front-office fixed income e-trading experience to help shape what we build and how we build it.

We provide a low-latency, high-throughput distributed messaging system for e-trading fixed income markets. We are, foremost, a technology service provider and support for part of our customers’ trading infrastructure. Our core products involve API connectivity and GUIs for electronic trading.
What you’ll be doing:

• Leverage your front-office fixed income e-trading experience to help shape trader-facing tools and features.

• Work with Product and Engineering to turn trading workflows and business problems into clear requirements and deliverable software.

• Explore workflows including RFQ, pricing, price contribution, venue connectivity, auto-negotiation, hedging, and execution.

• Identify edge cases, challenge assumptions, and help the team make practical product decisions.

• Follow features from discovery through development and validation to make sure they solve the intended problem.

To thrive in this role, you need to:

• Have substantial experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within a bank, working closely and regularly with one or more trading desks market-making fixed income products electronically.

• Have experience gathering traders' requirements, working with designers and developers to build UI and API solutions.

• Know at least one relevant product area in depth, such as Bonds (rates and/or credit) and Interest Rate Swaps.

• Understand electronic trading workflows, including RFQ, D2C and D2D trading, pricing, venues, and venue connectivity.

• Be familiar with trading tools and workflows such as auto-negotiation, hedging, and price contribution.

• Be comfortable working with developers and able to reason through basic logic, algorithms, and pseudocode. You do not need to be a developer.

Bonus points if you:

• Have knowledge across more than one fixed income product or asset class.

• Have a formal background as a fixed income trader.
