    Job description

    Tri-City Group is currently hiring an Enterprise Operations Specialist in Davenport, IA. This position supports the administration, integration, and lifecycle management of the company's business application portfolio. This role oversees application configuration, system integrations, vendor coordination, and implementation delivery to ensure business applications operate reliably and continue to meet organizational needs.

    Essential Duties:

    • Administer configuration, user setup, workflows, and system settings across the enterprise application portfolio.
    • Monitor application performance, releases, and vendor roadmaps, and assess the impact of changes prior to deployment.
    • Maintain a current inventory of enterprise applications, including business owner, purpose, renewal date, cost, and integration points.
    • Manage integrations between business applications and the ERP system.
    • Monitor interface jobs and logs, resolve failures, and communicate impact and resolution to affected departments.
    • Develop and maintain integration documentation, including data flows, authentication methods, and recovery procedures.
    • Serve as primary point of contact for application vendors, managing support cases, escalations, and release coordination.
    • Track license counts, renewal dates, and spend, and maintain a renewal calendar with adequate lead time.
    • Evaluate licensing and pricing options and present cost impact prior to renewal or plan changes.
    • Participate in application selection, including requirements gathering, demonstrations, and reference checks.
    • Lead or support implementations of new business applications from requirements through go-live.
    • Decommission retired applications, including data retention, export, and access removal.
    • Identify redundant or underused applications and recommend consolidation.
    • Administer single sign-on and application registrations, and review permission scopes prior to approval.
    • Identify and create automation opportunities to reduce manual data entry and improve efficiency.
    • Partner with business teams to improve processes and translate business needs into system configuration.
    • Develop and maintain IT documentation, procedures, and user guides.
    • Provide application training and support to end users.

    Required Education and Experience:

    • Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field preferred but not required; equivalent hands-on experience in a related role will be considered in its place
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience administering business applications in a multi-application environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience related to this position
    • In-depth knowledge of business application integrations, reporting, and field mapping
    • Experience managing vendor relationships, including support escalation and renewals
    • Working knowledge of single sign-on and identity integration concepts
    • Experience supporting at least one business application implementation from requirements through go-live
    • Experience working in a SOX-compliant environment preferred
    • Proficient in MS Office Suite
