Tri-City Group is currently hiring an IT Project Coordinator in Davenport, IA. This position supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of technology projects across the information technology organization. This role oversees project intake, scheduling, task coordination, stakeholder communication, and delivery reporting to ensure technology work is completed on time and aligned to business priorities.
Essential Duties:
- Lead technology projects from intake through closeout, including scope, schedule, resourcing, and risk management.
- Develop project plans with defined deliverables, milestones, owners, and due dates.
- Facilitate kickoff, status, and closeout meetings, and document decisions and action items with assigned owners.
- Track task-level commitments across IT teams and follow them through to completion.
- Maintain project and task information in departmental tracking tools so that reported status reflects actual progress.
- Identify and track cross-team dependencies, and escalate schedule risk early with recommended options.
- Maintain risk and issue logs and drive mitigation activity to resolution.
- Maintain a centralized intake process for technology project requests.
- Partner with IT leadership to prioritize project work against available team capacity.
- Maintain a current portfolio view of active, queued, and at-risk projects.
- Prepare and distribute project status reporting for IT leadership and business stakeholders.
- Track project effort and spend against estimates and report variance.
- Serve as primary point of contact for business stakeholders regarding project status, scope, and timelines.
- Coordinate vendor and implementation partner activity, including timelines, deliverables, and milestone sign-offs.
- Manage scope changes through a documented change process.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews and apply lessons learned to subsequent projects.
- Prioritize short- and long-term project needs to support business goals.

Required Education and Experience:
- Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field preferred but not required; equivalent hands-on experience in a related role will be considered in its place
- Minimum of 3 years' experience managing technology or business projects, or an equivalent combination of education and experience related to this position
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects across teams
- Working knowledge of project management methodologies and project tracking tools
- General knowledge of information technology functions, including infrastructure, applications, and end-user support
- Experience working in a SOX-compliant environment preferred
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
