Tri-City Group is currently seeking a Warehouse Coordinator for an immediate opening in Davenport, IA. This position will be located at the CST Tri-Venture Warehouse. The Warehouse Associate supports warehouse and field operations by receiving, organizing, maintaining, staging, and delivering tools, equipment, and materials. This position helps maintain accurate inventory, orderly storage areas, and safe, efficient warehouse operations. The Warehouse Associate works closely with the Warehouse Coordinator and field teams to respond to changing material and equipment needs.
Essential Duties:
- Receive incoming tools, equipment, materials, and other deliveries and verify shipments for accuracy, quantity, and condition
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
- Pick, stage, and prepare tools, equipment, and materials for delivery to construction projects and field teams
- Label, organize, and store materials in designated warehouse locations
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories
- Track tools and equipment entering and leaving the warehouse
- Inspect returned tools and equipment for damage, missing components, or maintenance needs
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment safely
- Secure loads and prepare tools, equipment, and materials for transportation
- Assist with local deliveries and material pickups as needed
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse, yard, staging, and loading areas
- Communicate inventory shortages, damaged materials, safety concerns, and other issues to the Warehouse Coordinator
- Follow established safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment
- Assist with general warehouse, facility, and yard maintenance
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM -3:30 PM. Occasional changes to the work schedule may be required as job duties demand.
Education and Experience Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Preferred Experience:
- Forklift experience or certification (Preferred)
- Previous warehouse, construction, electrical, industrial, logistics, or material-handling experience (Preferred)
- Experience using inventory or warehouse-management systems (Preferred)
- Familiarity with construction tools, electrical materials, or industrial equipment (Preferred)
- Experience pulling trailers or completing commercial deliveries (Preferred)
- Class B CDL or willingness to obtain one (Preferred)
