This position reports to the Engineering Manager and is a Monday-Friday day shift.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mining/Civil/Mechanical)
- Proficient understanding of engineering principles (soil/rock mechanics, steels design, hydraulics/pump networks, ventilation, conveyors, electricity, economics)
- Excellent computer skills (AutoCad, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and budgeted accounts
- Engineer in Training (EIT)
Desired Qualifications:
- Professional Engineering License (PE)
- Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
- Understanding of continuous and longwall mining methods
