    Work Schedule: 

    • Full-time
    • No holidays
    • Shift varies based on project needs Monday-Friday, day to evening hours. 
    • Weekends are limited.  
    • Travels around the greater Cincinnati area.

    Job Requirements:

    Graduate of an approved technical, professional ,or vocational program
    Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), through AMT, NCCT, or NHA, or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) by AAMA, and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

    WILL CONSIDER Non-certified if MA work experienced - at appropriate pay level
    EKG, Injections, Venipuncture knowledge/experience
    Performance of common lab tests according to establish CLIA guidelines and TriHealth policy
    Must have MA paid work experience in medical/physician office setting!

    Job Overview:
    This position assists the physician in examination and treatment of patients, performing miscellaneous delegated duties under the direction of physician. This position also interviews patients, measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information on patients' charts, and prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. Takes vital signs and performs vision, urinalysis, glucose finger sticks as needed. Additional training provided to administer health screens: EKGs, audiometric, Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT), respirator FIT tests, drug screens and breath alcohol testing Perform venipuncture and administer injections (like TB, under MD supervision) Provide outstanding customer service by communicating with clients and patients to resolve concerns and requests The position will be cross-trained to perform duties to enhance efficiency and continuity of delivery of patient care; work cooperatively within the team concept demonstrating flexibility, motivation and commitment to quality patient care. This position’s tasks include patient related duties, medical record maintenance/documentation, and safety/environmental duties.
