Trillium Health Partners (THP) is once again proud to participate in the Ministry of Health's Nursing Graduate Guarantee (NGG) initiative for 2026/2027.
As part of the Ministry of Health's health human resources strategy, this initiative provides new graduate nurses in Ontario, including those who studied out-of-province and abroad, with temporary full-time employment above staffing complement for up to twelve (12) weeks. This initiative supports their successful transition into practice, ensuring they gain valuable experience and are well-prepared for their careers in healthcare.

Participation in the NGG initiative is open to nurses within 12 months of registering with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO). The new nurse must be registered with the CNO, either in the Temporary Class or General Class, before beginning their NGG transition into practice period.
