We’re looking for a Team Lead who can keep operations running smoothly, ensure team members are working safely and effectively, and deliver a consistent, high-quality experience for every customer.
The Team Lead is responsible for managing the daily operations of our automatic car wash facility, focusing on safety compliance, team performance, and labor efficiency. This role involves hands-on leadership, real-time decision-making, and ensuring both staff and equipment meet Turbo Wash standards.
Schedule and manage shift coverage to meet business needs
Assign duties and monitor team member performance
Ensure labor is used efficiently to support peak traffic times and operational goals
Train and mentor new and current staff on procedures and safety
Lead by example to promote a positive, professional, and safe work culture
Manage time-off requests, track attendance, and address any labor-related concerns
Conduct daily equipment inspections and monitor wash tunnel operations
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
Ensure vehicles are properly guided into the tunnel with full adherence to safety protocols
Report and address any safety hazards, equipment issues, or customer concerns immediately
Ensure team compliance with all company safety policies and procedures
Greet and assist customers with a courteous, confident approach
Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally
Process payments accurately and balance cash drawers at shift end
Ensure a smooth, efficient customer flow throughout the wash process
Leadership or supervisory experience (preferably in retail, automotive, or service industry)
Strong understanding of workplace safety standards
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and team-building skills
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Physically able to lift moderate weight and stay on feet for long periods
Experience managing schedules and shift coverage is a plus
