Land Surveying - Fehr GrahamAs the Professional Land Surveyor Manager, you will provide leadership, operational oversight, and strategic direction for the firm's surveying practice.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Lead and develop a team of Professional Land Surveyors and survey staff across multiple office locations.
- Oversee project execution, workload management, staffing, and resource allocation to ensure quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
- Provide technical leadership and quality assurance for survey projects, deliverables, and regulatory compliance.
- Establish and maintain surveying standards, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
- Mentor and support the professional development of survey personnel while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and support business development initiatives.
- Partner with company leadership to drive operational excellence, pursue growth opportunities, and expand surveying services.
- Monitor project performance, budgets, schedules, and client feedback to ensure successful project delivery and continuous improvement.
Required:
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Illinois.
- Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive land surveying experience, including leadership or management responsibilities.
- Experience overseeing multiple projects, teams, and priorities in a consulting environment.

The base salary range for this role is indicated in the posting. This range reflects the company’s good faith estimate of the compensation for this position at the time of posting.
