Laberge Group, a 60+ year fixture in New York State municipal engineering, is now part of Artheon and the Trilon Group. We're growing our municipal water and wastewater team here in Albany and looking for an Engineer to take on real project responsibility early, with the mentorship and structure to build toward a PE license.
This role includes a seat in Blueprint, Artheon's early career development program for engineers with 0-4 years of experience. Over six months you'll get structured mentorship, PE exam study support, and exposure to project delivery across our municipal work.

- Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for water and wastewater projects under the direction of a project manager
- Support field investigations, inspections, and data collection on active water and wastewater infrastructure
- Assist in preparing grant and funding program applications (GIGP, DWSRF, CDBG, USDA, and similar programs)
- Support construction administration tasks, including submittal review and field observation
- Coordinate with senior engineers on project schedules and deliverables
- Work toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure with firm-supported study time and mentorship
- B.S. in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification, or actively preparing for the FE exam
- 2-5 years of experience in civil or environmental engineering, water/wastewater exposure preferred
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar design software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
The base salary range for this role is indicated in the posting. This range reflects the company’s good faith estimate of the compensation for this position at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and geographic location.
