Trinseo is looking for a Logistics Team Leader

This is a one-year fixed term contract position. 

This role will lead a team of Logistics Service Representatives to assure safe and compliant handling/transportation of both up and downstream material flows, including managing of Logistics Service providers.

Verantwoordelijkheden

The position will have responsibilities to include, but not limited to:

• Assure logistics activities are performed safely and in an environmentally conscious way and in compliance with relevant regulations, industry standards, and Trinseo policies.
• Oversee the day-to-day logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management, ensure timely planning, loading, pickup and delivery of goods.
• Keep internal parties informed of delays and act as point of contact for escalation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics strategies with overall business objectives
• Drive implementation of initiatives to improve efficiency (service, costs of Sustainability)

• Ensure transportation and assessorial invoices are audited and processed in timely matters

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for process improvement and cost optimization
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, carriers, and third-party logistics partners, including performance monitoring to ensure expectations are meet.
• Ensure QN are investigated in timely matter and effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

• Analyze data and market trends to anticipate future logistics needs and challenges.

• Lead, coach and develop team, ensuring growth and advocate PAACE culture

Kwalificaties

Minimum Education Required:

Minimum bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or International Trade. Individuals with other relevant qualifications and experience will be considered.

Minimum Experience:

4-6 years of experience in a relevant service role (e.g. Procurement, Customer Service, Logistics or Supply Chain disciplines) preferred. Work experience in the chemical, safety or transport industries is a plus.
