    Job description

    Description

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

    • Territory Prospecting & Pipeline Generation
      • Own outbound prospecting across your assigned AE's Enterprise territory. Identify and engage target accounts using intent signals, engagement data, and account context to determine timing and approach. Build pipeline through a combination of account research, personalized outreach, and multi-channel engagement.
    • Inbound Lead Follow-Up
      • Follow up on marketing-sourced leads with timely, personalized outreach. You are the first human touchpoint for many buyers and the quality of your follow-up directly impacts conversion. Execute structured sequences by lead source, account type, and territory priority, with consistent adherence to SLA expectations.
    • Sales & GTM Alignment
      • Meet regularly with your assigned Account Executive to align on territory priorities, account movement, and pipeline gaps. Maintain a shared view of the territory and contribute to joint account planning. Act as the connective tissue between marketing demand, partner teams, and sales execution by flagging account signals, surfacing insights from outreach, and ensuring pipeline quality before handoff.
    • Account Based Marketing (ABM)
      • Participate in account-based marketing programs as part of the targeting and execution team. Use intent dashboards aligned to your territory to identify and prioritize accounts. Contribute to ABM program feedback and account selection, ensuring outreach is coordinated with broader marketing activity rather than running in a silo.
    • Event Coverage
      • Provide coverage at key tradeshows and regional events. This includes pre-event outreach to target accounts, on-site engagement, and structured post-event follow-up with documented activity and outcomes. Events are a high-yield channel for this team and a core part of the role.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

    • Experience with a sales engagement platform (Groove, Outreach, Salesloft or similar) and Salesforce CRM
    • Comfortable owning a territory with proactive pipeline management, not only queue management
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to personalize outreach based on account and persona context
    • Familiarity with intent and ABM tools (6sense, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar)
    • Ability to ramp quickly in a structured environment with defined playbooks and clear ownership
    • Strong cross-functional collaborator; able to work in tight alignment with sales stakeholders
    • Organized, data-driven, and consistent in activity tracking and reporting
    • Experience selling into Finance, Accounting or Operations buyers a plus
    • Background in financial technology, ERP, or record-to-report software a plus
