As a Data Scientist in the Visual & AI Content team, you'll leverage your expertise in NLP and large language models to transform how travelers discover and understand hotel content.

How you'll make an impact:

• Develop and deploy end-to-end machine learning solutions using NLP and text generation techniques to optimize hotel content and enhance the user experience.
• Analyze data to unearth hidden patterns in user behavior and text performance, translating findings into actionable insights that inform business strategy.
• Build and leverage large language models and foundation models for text understanding, automated summary generation, and content optimization at scale.
• Apply advanced machine learning techniques — including predictive modelling, statistical modelling, and deep learning — to solve complex content challenges with moderate supervision.
• Drive data-driven decision-making through experimental design, A/B testing, and performance monitoring of deployed solutions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and design teams to implement scalable, production-ready solutions aligned with business priorities.

What you'll need to thrive:

• An advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in machine learning, computer science, statistics, or a related quantitative field, with 3+ years of practical experience deploying ML algorithms in production environments.
• Deep expertise in Python, SQL, and cloud computing, paired with a strong background in NLP/NLG, large language models, and foundation models for text processing.
• Proven ability to design and execute experiments, apply statistical methods, and translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable business impact.
• Solid foundation in experimentation — A/B test design, bias awareness, guardrail metrics, and connecting offline quality to online business outcomes
• A genuine learning mindset — you approach challenges with curiosity, seek out feedback, and continuously look for ways to develop and grow.
• A performance mindset — you set ambitious goals for yourself and have the determination and resilience to follow through and achieve them.
• You see AI as a force multiplier for how data science and analytics can operate at scale — you explore how it can enhance your work, engage with it thoughtfully and with the right guardrails, and are genuinely excited to grow alongside evolving technologies.
