Brookside at The Rose Bowl, located in Pasadena, CA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Cart Attendant! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. Pay Rate: $18.57 hourly
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skill Requirements:
- Must have strong customer/guest orientation
- Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be dependable
- Must have a friendly personality and enjoy working with the public
- Working knowledge of the rules of golf is preferred
- Ability to learn and enforce course policies, rules, and regulations
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely
- Ability to work nights and weekends is mandatory
- Golf experience preferred
Position Responsibilities:
- Maintains professional appearance
- Brings carts from the cart barn in the morning and returns carts to the cart barn at the end of the day
- Cleans, waters, and checks carts after each use and restocks as required.
- Cleans and maintains the cart barn
- Ensures the carts are available for player use at all times
- Receives and communicates complaints to the Golf Shop.
- Works closely with Golf Shop staff to prepare and conduct golf tournaments
- Implements and supports all course policies and programs as communicated by management.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager from time to time
