We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. Compensation:
$16.90 - $17.00 per hour
Summary:
The host or hostess is the first point of contact for members and guests at the club, responsible for creating a positive and welcoming experience. This role involves greeting and seating members and guests, managing reservations, and coordinating with other staff to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
Schedule:
Key Responsibilities:
Warmly welcomes members and guests upon arrival.
Provides information about the club, such as specials.
Manages the seating chart to optimize table turnover and balance server workload.
Escorts guests to their tables and presents menus.
Takes and confirms reservations by phone or through an online reservation system.
Maintains an organized reservation book and updates it as needed.
Communicates effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth service.
Handles member and guest inquiries, requests, and concerns professionally.
Keeps the waiting area clean and organized.
Monitors and manages member and guest wait times.
Relays special requests and dietary restrictions to the kitchen.
Works with servers to accommodate large parties and special events.
Ensures menus are clean and in good condition.
Keeps the host stand well-stocked with necessary supplies.
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Familiarity with reservation systems is a plus.
- Neat and professional appearance.
