Turtleback Mountain Golf and Resort, located in Elephant Butte, NM, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Server! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Pay:
$9.00 per hour plus tips and gratuity
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating
- Describes daily specials, answers questions about menu items, and offers recommendations
- Takes food and beverage orders and delivers items promptly
- Follows up with guests to ensure satisfaction and replenishes items as needed
- Participates in pre-shift meetings and tastings
- Maintains an organized workstation and completes side work duties
- Accurately processes checks and cash transactions using the POS system
- Follows established procedures for taking, placing, and delivering orders
- Adheres to service standards for greeting, cocktail service, and food delivery
- Practices proper tray service for all food and beverage service
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Performs other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; and two years of serving experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must meet state age requirements for serving alcohol (21+)
- Food safety knowledge
- Food preparation experience
