Performs courier and transportation services for the Center by picking up, transporting, and delivering mail, documents, packages, supplies, equipment, and other materials to Center offices, departments, satellite locations, and designated external locations.
Operates assigned vehicles safely and efficiently, follows established routes and schedules, and loads, unloads, and secures materials to prevent damage or loss.
Maintains accountability for items transported and obtains delivery confirmation or signatures when required. Conducts routine vehicle inspections and maintains accurate mileage, trip, fuel, and maintenance records; reports vehicle maintenance, damage, and safety concerns as appropriate.
Assists with receiving shipments, verifying deliveries, reporting discrepancies, and supporting purchasing and asset management activities, including asset tagging and capitalization.
Maintains the cleanliness and organization of the assigned vehicle and designated work areas.
Provides professional customer service to Center staff, vendors, and other authorized recipients, follows applicable policies and safety procedures, participates in required staff meetings and training, and performs other related duties as assigned.
High School diploma or GED.
