Software Engineer- Quality Assurance

<p><br></p><p><strong>Job Role: </strong></p><ul><li>Be responsible for the quality of an entire project across various platforms (specifically iOS, Android and web).</li><li> Develop testing strategies with a vision to produce maximum quality in minimum time frame.</li><li>Develop and implement Test Automation Framework for continuous testing  Develop and maintain automation scripts as well as test cases and scenarios (including manual and automation).</li><li>Execute Test Cases (manual or automated) and analyse results. </li><li>Be responsible to adapting to the business and user requirements.</li><li>Plan and carry-out different testing types such as Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, Database, API, etc.</li><li>Interact with the project manager as well as business and technology teams to develop a strong understanding of the product and testing objectives.</li><li>Manage issue triage, escalation and verification.</li><li>Provide valuable feedback on products based on ease of use and user experience. </li></ul><p><strong>Requirements: </strong></p><ul><li>Experience in Test-Driven Development / Business-Driver Development testing processes </li><li>Strong experience in test planning, creating test cases and execution using Test Automation Tools/Framework. </li><li>Experienced in Agile Scrum Software Development methodologies.</li><li>Experience in API testing and tools like Postman, is a plus. </li><li>Automation experience at Unit, API and UI level. </li><li>Ability to switch between automation and manual testing processes without any hiccups.</li><li>Strong experience with Appium and Selenium. </li><li>Experience with Jest, Enzyme, EarlGrey and XCUITest is a plus. </li><li>Strong command on one of the following languages: Core Java or JavaScript.</li><li>Experience in working alone or as a part of a distributed team. </li><li>Ability to adapt and work with to different programming languages and databases. </li><li>Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). </li><li>Experience in project management or team management is required.</li><li> Experience in handling native and hybrid applications in automation testing. </li><li>Good understanding of concepts like regression testing, functional testing, mobile web testing, system testing, Performance Testing. </li><li>Ability to document the test results and log issues in issue tracker [JIRA].</li></ul>
