    Job description

    Certified Nurse-Midwife / Women’s Health NP / Experienced FNP – Outpatient OB/GYN

Location: Fresh Meadows, Queens, New York
    Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Four- or five-day outpatient schedule
Compensation: $150,000–$180,000 annual base salary, plus potential quality and productivity incentive
Clinical Setting: Outpatient OB/GYN and women’s health
    Labor-and-Delivery Call: Not required

    Join True Health NY

True Health NY is seeking an experienced, dependable and patient-centered women’s-health advanced-practice clinician to join our Fresh Meadows OB/GYN practice.

    Qualified candidates may include:

    • New York-licensed certified nurse-midwives

    • New York-certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioners

    • Experienced New York-certified Family Nurse Practitioners with substantial recent outpatient OB/GYN and prenatal-care experience

The successful clinician will provide comprehensive outpatient gynecologic, prenatal and postpartum care, build and maintain a stable patient panel, perform approved office procedures and ensure timely follow-through on results, referrals and patient concerns.

The Fresh Meadows clinic provides an integrated environment with OB/GYN physicians, women’s-health clinicians, primary-care services, ultrasound, diagnostic services and centralized administrative support.

This is a site-anchored Fresh Meadows position—not a multisite float assignment. The clinician will have a defined recurring schedule and clear responsibility for documentation, results, patient messages and continuity of care.

No routine labor-and-delivery or overnight call is required. Candidates interested in an expanded hospital, delivery or call role may discuss that scope separately.

    Position Highlights

    • Defined Fresh Meadows home office

    • Full-time four- or five-day schedule

    • No routine labor-and-delivery or overnight call

    • Established Queens OB/GYN and prenatal patient demand

    • Collaboration with OB/GYN physicians and experienced advanced-practice clinicians

    • Outpatient gynecology, prenatal care, postpartum care and contraception

    • Opportunity to perform credentialed office procedures

    • Access to ultrasound and coordinated diagnostic services

    • Dedicated medical-assistant and administrative support

    • Centralized scheduling, referrals, authorizations and billing support

    • eClinicalWorks electronic medical record

    • Guaranteed base compensation with potential incentive opportunity

    • Potential sign-on assistance

    • Professional-development and leadership opportunities

    Clinical Responsibilities

The clinician will provide services consistent with the individual’s New York license or certification, education, experience, demonstrated competency, credentialing and approved privileges.

    Responsibilities may include:

    • New and established gynecologic visits

    • Annual well-woman examinations

    • Pap and HPV testing

    • STI screening, counseling and treatment

    • Contraception and family-planning counseling

    • Pregnancy-confirmation visits

    • Preconception counseling

    • Routine outpatient prenatal care

    • Prenatal laboratory, genetic-screening and ultrasound review

    • Identification and escalation of higher-risk pregnancy conditions

    • Postpartum examinations and follow-up

    • Evaluation of menstrual disorders and pelvic pain

    • Management of common vaginal and vulvar conditions

    • Evaluation of common sexual-health concerns

    • Perimenopause and menopause care

    • Initial infertility evaluation and appropriate referral within scope

    • Preventive and bone-health counseling

    • Ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing within scope

    • Patient education and longitudinal follow-up

    • Physician, MFM, emergency or hospital escalation when required

    Office Procedures

Based on verified training, recent competency and credentialing, the clinician may perform approved procedures such as:

    • IUD insertion and removal

    • Contraceptive implant insertion and removal

    • Endometrial biopsy

    • Vulvar biopsy

    • Pessary fitting and management

    • Removal of uncomplicated cervical polyps

    • Incision and drainage of uncomplicated vulvar or Bartholin gland conditions

    • Colposcopy when appropriately trained and credentialed

    • Other approved outpatient procedures

Candidates are not required to perform every listed procedure. True Health NY will verify training, recent experience, competency, equipment availability, malpractice coverage and credentialing before independent performance.

    Prenatal Care and Hospital Coordination

    The clinician will:

    • Manage routine prenatal care within the clinician’s lawful scope and demonstrated competency.

    • Follow established prenatal-testing and follow-up protocols.

    • Identify findings requiring OB/GYN physician or MFM consultation.

    • Escalate urgent pregnancy concerns promptly.

    • Document significant prenatal risks, pending testing and consultation.

    • Provide complete information to hospital and laborist teams.

    • Review relevant hospital, delivery and discharge records.

    • Provide timely postpartum follow-up.

    • Maintain continuity between outpatient prenatal, hospital and postpartum care.

The position does not include independent hospital obstetric management, delivery attendance or labor-and-delivery call unless separately approved and documented.
