Join an early-stage team building AI-powered tools for clinical research and patient recruitment. As a founding product engineer, you will work across the product stack to help research teams connect with and support trial participants more effectively.
Build and improve user-facing product features from design through implementation, deployment, and customer feedback.
Develop systems that coordinate AI agents across patient recruitment workflows for clinical trials.
Help build machine learning capabilities that match patient profiles with suitable trials and improve through real-world outcomes.
Scale conversational AI across voice, SMS, and email while maintaining consistent, personalized interactions.
Integrate the platform with existing healthcare systems, including tools that may lack public APIs.
Work across frontend, backend, and infrastructure to deliver product improvements end to end.
One to six years of software engineering experience building products used by real people.
Full-stack experience across frontend, backend, and infrastructure, with a track record of owning projects from design to launch and customer feedback.
Experience with TypeScript, Python, Next.js, Terraform, AWS, and Docker.
An undergraduate degree in computer science, electrical engineering and computer science, mathematics, or a related field, with strong software engineering fundamentals.
Experience at an early-stage or high-growth product company, or as a founder or founding engineer.
Healthcare or life sciences technology experience is helpful, as are shareable side projects or an active GitHub profile.
Ability to demonstrate coding skills without relying on AI coding tools.
Salary range: $170,000 to $220,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
