Do you have a passion for movement, wellbeing, and building community? HealthFitness is looking for a Group Exercise Instructor to bring energy and inspiration to our client sites throughout Rhode Island—including Cranston, Narragansett, East Providence, Providence, Lincoln, Warwick, and more!

In this position you will provide fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members participating in the program such as dance, kickboxing, stretch, Zumba, circuit, etc.
This is a position working on an as-needed basis depending on scheduling.
Classes take place Monday - Friday between the hours of 9:00AM - 3:00PM

Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members such as Zumba, dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit.

Minimum Requirements

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.
• Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.
• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

The compensation range for this role is $30/class - $35/class. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.  We understand that compensation is an important factor when considering a new opportunity, and we strive to provide a competitive wage within the market.
