What we're looking for
We are hiring for an ambitious, skilled Full Stack Software Engineer with expertise in Node.js (TypeScript) development, React.js, and, ideally, associated technologies (including LLM fine tuning). This engineer will move from back-end code to front-end UX implementation with tasteful design and scale out our backend as we grow out enterprise customers.
Responsibilities 📝
- Help guide our overall strategy through systems design and peer reviews
- Develop and maintain server-side features in Node.js
- Implement and maintain high-quality UX/UI design principles across applications in React.js
- Rotating On Call; Troubleshoot and debug issues promptly, providing effective resolutions to maintain application functionality for customers.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and debugging skills in a collaborative team environment.
- Translate product requirements into technical designs, showcasing independent thinking and creativity.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in creating and optimizing OpenAI prompts for AI-powered applications.
- Fine-tuning LLMs for industry specific applications.
- Familiarity with Railway or Vercel for serverless deployment and scaling of applications.
- Prior experience working with VC-backed startups or zero to one teams in large tech companies,
Qualifications 👨🎓
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Strong understanding of UX/UI principles with a keen eye for design.
- Interest in startups (extra points for wanting to be a Founder one day!)
- Collaborate effectively with team members, demonstrating excellent communication and teamwork skills.
