• Provide Level 3 technical support for enterprise firewall environments, acting as the highest escalation point for complex incidents and critical outages.
• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize Check Point Firewall environments, including Security Gateways, Management Servers, VSX, ClusterXL, VPNs, NAT, IPS, Identity Awareness, Application Control, URL Filtering, and Threat Prevention.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of network security issues involving routing, switching, firewall policies, VPN connectivity, SSL inspection, and application traffic.
• Lead firewall policy reviews, rule optimization, cleanup activities, and compliance initiatives while ensuring adherence to security standards.
• Collaborate with Network, Cloud, Infrastructure, Security Operations, and Application teams to deliver secure solutions for new business initiatives.
• Plan and execute firewall upgrades, migrations, operating system updates, and hardware refresh activities with minimal business impact.
• Participate in security architecture reviews and recommend improvements based on industry best practices.
• Investigate security incidents and provide root cause analysis along with preventive recommendations.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, implementation guides, and knowledge articles.
• Participate in an on-call rotation and provide support during planned maintenance and critical production incidents.
