About The Role

Due to the continued growth and success of our brands we are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Warehouse Team Leader to lead, motivate and coach our Outbound team at our brand-new DC situated in Canning Vale, Perth.

The primary focus of this pivotal role will be to lead the team to ensure accurate and efficient picking of all orders through to despatch ensuring the DC always operates efficiently and safely within agreed timeframes. This is an exciting time to join the team as you will play a key role in the transition into our new DC and assist with the roll out of our new wms system early next year.

Reporting directly to the Outbound Manager duties will include:

• Ensure all orders are picked and despatched within agreed lead-times
• Ensure pick accuracy to minimise inventory loss, and achieve high customer satisfaction
• Ensure that pick face replenishment is optimised and completed on a timely basis
• Provide training and support in use of the SAP, WMS system and the associated procedures to the outbound, inbound, picking, packing and replenishment teams.
• Work with the Inventory Team to ensure that system and physical inventory differences and issues are resolved promptly to minimise delays in picking.
• Manage MHE resources to assist the receiving and putaway functions to meet agreed targets
• Assist with the implementation of rf scanning
• Prepare and report day/weekly/monthly as appropriate on agreed KPI measures and analysis to ensure all targets are exceeded
• Lead the team to adhere to Work Health and Safety standards and Company compliance, policies and procedures.

About You

The successful candidate will have a strong Team Leading background within a fast-paced DC environment and a passion for coaching, developing and motivating teams.

You are a hands-on leader committed to delivering first class service to our customers whilst always promoting safety first work practices.

In addition, you will have the following skills and attributes:

• Strong warehouse people leadership, ideally managing large teams
• Strong organisational and process improvement skills
• At least 2 years' experience using a complex WMS across inbound, outbound and inventory processes
• Knowledge of Excel and SAP EWM is highly preferable
• Able to work to strict deadlines and remain calm under pressure
• Confident communication and stakeholder management skills.
