Main Purpose of the Role
Group strategy
Develop processes, standards, and frameworks for strategic planning and drive best practices across Thai Union. Support the creation and execution of TU Group's vision, strategic objectives, strategy, and goals. Monitor industry and consumer trends, provide strategic support for initiatives, and manage third-party service providers.
Engage closely with key stakeholders, including external partners, regulators, and BU and Function Heads.
BU / Corporate Function strategic planning and execution
Support the development of the BU and Corporate Function strategic agenda, covering strategy setting, performance dialogue, and growth opportunities, and ensure alignment with overall Group strategy. Ensure regular coordination with BU and Corporate Function leadership teams on BU KPIs and strategic initiatives.
Transformation and implementation
Develop transformation roadmaps and timelines to achieve targeted outcomes, ensuring effective planning, execution, and delivery.
Develop and implement KPIs and performance metrics to quantify the progress and impact of initiatives. Facilitate implementation of group-wide initiatives, support BU and Corporate Function initiatives to ensure alignment with overall Group strategy, and lead change management efforts.
Key Accountabilities
Group Strategy
Provide strategic guidance and leadership in the corporate strategy development process, bringing an outside-in perspective to challenge the status quo.
Act as a thought partner to senior leadership.
Provide key stakeholders with actionable insights and a forward-looking perspective on business opportunities and challenges.
Provide strategic support for initiatives.
Prepare internal management reports and dashboards, including board updates, initiative progress tracking, and mitigation plans.
Manage third-party service providers such as consultants and external advisors, overseeing project deliverables, timelines, and overall relationships.
BU / Corporate Function strategic planning and execution
Support the development of the BU and Corporate Function strategic agenda, including strategy setting, performance dialogue, and growth opportunities, ensuring alignment with overall Group strategy.
Ensure regular coordination with BU and Corporate Function leadership teams on BU KPIs and strategic initiatives to ensure alignment with overall Thai Union objectives, and moderate communication and feedback channels between Group Strategy and the respective leadership teams.
Transformation and implementation
Develop the transformation roadmaps and timelines to achieve targeted outcomes, ensuring effective planning, execution, and delivery.
Develop and implement KPIs and performance metrics to quantify the progress and impact of initiatives.
Facilitate implementation of group-wide initiatives to improve commercial and operational efficiency within Thai Union, identifying areas for improvement and highlighting any deviations from plans.
Lead change management efforts to ensure seamless adoption of new processes and behaviours.
Provide proper handover of transformation programmes and drive the development of mechanisms for post-programme monitoring.
Capture, share, and incorporate best practices and learnings from transformation projects across Corporate Functions, BUs, and cross-functional teams.

Candidate Profile
Personal competencies
Minimum overall experience of 5-7 years, of which 3-4 years is from MBB consulting.
Self-driven and willing to take the lead in complex projects.
Strategic thinking, data analysis, and planning skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, and AI tools.
A self-starter with a strong work ethic and an innovative, solution-focused mindset to overcoming challenges.
Proven experience in collaborating with, influencing, and managing conflict resolution across diverse internal and external stakeholders, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
A learning and continuous improvement mindset, with a passion for improving processes and ways of working.
Demonstrates alignment with, and the ability to thrive within, the cultural framework of Thai Union's values and behaviours.
Degree from a top-tier university.
