Job Purpose
The Technical Specialist is responsible for providing technical support and operational maintenance for hardware, infrastructure, workplace technologies, and end-user computing environments. The role focuses on ensuring the availability, stability, security, and performance of IT infrastructure and workplace services across the organization, while serving as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues related to hardware, networks, servers, and connectivity.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Provide Level 2 technical support for business-critical applications and infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to hardware, software, network, servers, manufacturing systems, and workplace devices.
• Coordinate escalations with global Product Teams, Service Management, and Foundation teams when required.
• Ensure local systems’ availability and operational stability.
• Maintain and support workplace technologies including endpoints, printers, meeting room solutions, and mobile devices.
• Support local network, server, storage, and connectivity services.
• Ensure compliance with IT security standards, patch management, and technology lifecycle requirements.
• Monitor infrastructure health and proactively identify improvement opportunities.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, Hardware Support, End User Computing, or IT Operations.
• Experience supporting enterprise hardware and infrastructure environments.
• Experience working with network, server, storage, and workplace technology support.
• Experience in manufacturing or multinational environments is an advantage.
