JOB DESCRIPTION
Craftworker Aide
Hourly Pay Rate: $10.00 - $15.00
The Craftworker Aide will support the department/organization with various maintenance and operational tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the general usage of the lab, being aware who is using the equipment and tools.
- Cleaning and maintenance of equipment
- Supporting fabrication projects
- Working with students and faculty on projects and assignments
- Assisting with general equipment maintenance of the various tools and equipment in the shop
- Managing inventory and checkout of portable tools
- Keeping the wood shop clean
Qualifications:
- Active enrollment as a student at Tulane University A Federal Work Study Award (potentially)
- Enrollment in a particular academic program or course of study (potentially)
- Prior experience with various equipment used in the lab such as sewing machines, saws, etc. (potentially)
