Perform maintenance, overhaul and repair operations on APU accessories using appropriate tooling as required. Requires working in various disciplines within the repair and overhaul shop. · With general supervision tear down, inspect, and rebuild APU accessories. · Clean parts and assemblies as required · Prepare documentation, including findings and test data · Assemble equipment as required by the OEM maintenance manuals and other work instructions · Light painting and touch up of assemblies as required · Make setups and adjustments, holding tolerances to blueprint and work instruction specifications. · Read and interpret maintenance manuals. · Read, interpret and execute work instructions · May prepare reports and suggest improvements and modifications from data collected · Troubleshoots, repairs and services APU accessories · Conducts diagnosis of malfunctions. · May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications. · Maintains FAA required records, manuals and inspection forms. · Follow all company policies including safety instructions · Maintain a neat and orderly workstation and promote overall good housekeeping practices · Other duties as assigned by manager
