Turner Staffing Group is partnered with a quarry in Hinkley, CA that is looking for an Excavator Operator. This is a key production role responsible for efficiently loading haul trucks and supporting material movement across the site.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate an excavator to load haul trucks with overburden, ore, or aggregate material
- Maintain consistent production rates while minimizing spillage and rework
- Ensure proper digging and loading techniques to maximize efficiency and equipment longevity
- Conduct pre-shift and post-shift inspections of equipment
- Identify and report mechanical issues or unsafe conditions
- Follow all site safety policies and MSHA regulations
- Communicate effectively with haul truck drivers, dispatch, and supervisors
- Maintain clean work areas and assist with general production support as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating an excavator in a mining, quarry, or heavy civil environment
- Strong understanding of loading patterns, material handling, and production goals
- Valid driver's license required
- MSHA certification (preferred; may be required prior to start)
- Ability to work in a physically demanding outdoor environment
- Strong situational awareness and commitment to safety
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
