    Position Title: Development Executive Assistant

    Employment: Full-Time, Salaried, Exempt

    Location: Phoenix, AZ

    Travel: 40%

    Start Date: ASAP

    Job Description: The Development Executive Assistant will support one of the organization’s top Senior Directors and National Fundraisers by managing day-to-day operations, priorities, and execution. This high-performance role is focused on maximizing the Senior Director’s time, efficiency, and impact through proactive organization, problem-solving, and follow-through.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Management of the Senior Director’s calendar;
    • Scheduling phone calls and meetings as requested by the Senior Director in a timely and efficient manner;
    • Assisting the Senior Director with expense tracking and management;
    • Frequent travel to events as needed and directed by the Senior Director;
    • Assisting the Senior Director with donor management which will include tasks such as (but not limited to) conducting high-level donor research and identifying high-net-worth individuals, strategic targets, and funding opportunities;
    • Preparing materials as needed and requested by the Senior Director to distribute to donors;
    • Frequent collaboration with other departments within the Development team to generate donor documents and send event emails;
    • Ensuring the upkeep of donor accounts within the CRM.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Elite organizational skills with the ability to manage complex projects and competing deadlines;
    • Flawless written and verbal communication skills with a strong attention to detail;
    • Ability to work independently and proactively solve problems;
    • Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive);
    • Strong commitment to TPUSA’s mission and principles;
    • Excel and be willing to work in a high-stress environment;
    • Willingness to fulfill all duties listed and any additional duties assigned;
    • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to locations as needed;
    • Demonstrates the physical ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time, and safely lift up to 15 lbs.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience with CRM systems (Virtuous, Salesforce, or similar) and data reporting.
    • Background in donor management.
    • Prior experience in supporting Director and/or Executive level leadership.
