1st Shift Loader/Forklift

PRIMARY RESPONSBILITY:

Follow all procedures and work instructions to achieve optimal productivity, quality, and safety, assuring internal and external customer satisfaction. Perform loading functions as needed so that all trucks are loaded accurately and efficiently. Perform all material handling functions to ensure finished goods is stored and handled properly. Serve as back-up to Material Handlers when needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Follow all Safety Guidelines & Procedures (i.e. Forklift – Pedestrian Safety)

• Pull products shipped using FIFO.

• Stage and Load trucks as directed by Shipping Lead/Shipping Supervisor

• Ensure product is packaged correctly, the correct tubes and bags are used, and bags are labeled properly.

• Audit all outgoing shipments to ensure 100% accuracy before delivery to the customer

• Properly store all finished goods in the area designated.

• Complete inventory cycle counts as directed

• Back-up Material Handlers as needed.

• Maintain required records in performing assigned duties.

• Perform prescribed cleaning and/or waste removal duties according to designated procedures.

• Perform other cleaning duties as needed to maintain equipment and/or work area clean and orderly, using necessary equipment.

• Actively participate in 6S Process and maintain housekeeping during the shift.
