We are looking for a compassionate, caring, and experienced Executive Director who would be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the community. As an ED, you are able to interact and connect with our Residents and fellow Caregivers daily. The ED has the ability to establish a community that revolves around providing the best possible care for our Residents while making every day enjoyable and fulfilling.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Hires, trains, supervises, motivates, and evaluates all Team Members to ensure the highest quality of care is provided to the Residents
- Monitors the day-to-day work provided by the Team; supervising, critiquing, suggesting, and educating the team on proper work standards
- Completes paperwork on all new admissions, assisting and coordinating Residents’ move-ins and move-outs
- Coordinates training and Team Member meetings
- Completes Human Resources tasks
- Ensures budget goals are met
- Responsible for establishing and keeping a good working relation with all Residents, families, visitors, vendors and outside agency
- Completes and reviews incident reports and needed
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations within the community
Job Qualifications:
- Must be licensed by Virginia Department of Health Professionals as an Adult Home Administrator
- Must meet requirements imposed by licensing authorities
- Must have good organizational and supervisory skills
- Must be willing to praise and discipline team members as appropriate
- Must have an acceptable criminal record check
- Documents TB screening
- Must have or complete CPR/1st aide within the first 60 days of employment
- Must perform tasks with grace; works cooperatively with supervisors and display willingness to assist co-workers
- Must be capable of performing the duties and responsibilities of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation
