We are looking for a compassionate Laundry Aide to join our team. The Laundry Aide is responsible for laundering all linen and resident personal clothing along with the ordering and storing of necessary supplies. As a laundry aide, you will work closely with the housekeepers in the community.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Essential functions
- Empty soiled linen barrels, sort and load machines
- Fold and press linens
- May assist with driving laundry vehicle to and from laundry room.
- Clean laundry area: sweep floors, wipe down all machines, recheck lint traps and thoroughly sweep out.
Customer service
- Responsible for ensuring that all employees are providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
- Perform job duties for residents and with team members in a courteous and professional manner.
- Take initiative to ensure resident safety and satisfaction is a priority.
- Meet and greet visitors in a friendly, helpful manner (Visitors include anyone who visits the community; specifically, current residents’ families and friends, prospective residents and their families, referral sources, vendors and regulators).
- Answer phones appropriately, according to company and community standards.
