The Dining Server is responsible for providing courteous, efficient, and compassionate dining service to residents and guests. The Dining Server assists with meal service, maintains a clean and safe dining environment, and supports the Dining Services team in creating an enjoyable restaurant-style experience for residents.
- Must be at least 18 years of age, or meet applicable state requirements.
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
- Previous restaurant, food service, hospitality, or senior living experience preferred.
- Must have good communication and customer service skills.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work assigned shifts.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must maintain a professional, respectful, and positive attitude when working with residents, families, guests, and coworkers.
- Must demonstrate patience and compassion when interacting with older adults.
- Must be able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Must successfully complete required company and community training.
- Must comply with all applicable food safety, sanitation, infection control, and workplace safety requirements.
