What You Will Do
- Supervise the daily activities of assigned staff.
- Determine, coordinate and supervise daily staffing assignments and staffing levels.
- Train, coach, and evaluate assigned staff on performance expectations.
- Provides input for hiring and termination procedures.
- Coordinate patient care with other members of the team to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and desired patient outcomes.
- Assist with quality control testing, instrument maintenance and troubleshooting.
- May perform the duties of a technologist as department staffing levels require.
- Creates work schedules to ensure all areas of diagnostic imaging are covered 24/7.
- Perform diagnostics of system when performance is degraded, system has failed, or end user has encountered difficulty in using the application.
- Ensure that adequate supply levels are maintained.
- Perform quarterly audits of all supply closets to review stock vs. workload.
- Make any changes to supply levels if necessary.
What You Will Need
- Licensure / Certification / Registration: Required Credential(s): BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- One or more of the following: Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Medical Sonographer credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specificexperience required.
