Full-time Night Shift, 3 12's, 7pm-7am Work

What You Will Do
- Perform basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision.
- Assist patients with ambulation as necessary.
- This may include helping them to a recliner in their room, walk to the bathroom or down the hall.
- Assist dismissed patients in getting safely to their vehicles.
- Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
- Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
- Documents necessary records.
- Keeps patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintains medical equipment.
- Performs certain technical patient care duties in the hospital as directed by the staff nurse such as oxygen setup, foley catheter care, pulse oximetry setup, specimen collection and EKGs.
- Obtain and record vitals, weight, and inputs and outputs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration: • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
