Candidates should be prepared to work from our Prague office at least two times per week.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure seamless IPv4-to-IPv6 coexistence (dual-stack, tunneling, NAT64, DS-Lite, MAP-E, etc.) for enterprise and ISP-grade deployments
    • Conduct performance tuning, benchmarking, and troubleshooting for IPv6 forwarding, security, and QoS features
    • Collaborate with product managers and system architects to define the IPv6 roadmap and feature priorities
    • Work closely with the QA team to suggest test plans, simulations, and automated test environments for IPv6 functionality

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience in embedded networking software development

    • Strong hands-on experience with:

      • IPv6 protocol stack implementation (L2–L7)

      • IPv6 address management, DHCPv6, SLAAC

      • IPv6 Prefix Delegation

      • Experience with varied IPv6 network setups (enterprise, ISP, and mixed environments)

    • Proficiency in C/C++, with familiarity in Linux-based networking stacks
    • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
    • Strong communication and documentation abilities.

    Nice to Have:

    • Experience with IPv6 interoperability testing with ISPs

    • Experience with IPv6 certification processes (e.g., IPv6 Ready Logo, Hurricane Electric IPv6 Sage, or equivalent)

    • Familiarity with UniFi platforms

    Benefits:

    • Competitive salary and 5 weeks of vacation per year
    • Discretionary bonuses based on individual performance
    • Flexible working hours, home office
    • Access to all the latest Ubiquiti products and prototypes for home use and tests
    • Top floor office with terrace and amazing view of Prague
    • Kitchen packed with coffee, food, snacks & sodas, meal allowance, etc.
    • A collective of developers who want to make the best product. Maximum effort to keep processes to a minimum, no complex reporting and similar habits
