This position is based in Delhi/Gurgaon and may require occasional travel to project sites and central office locations (15-20% of the role).</p><div><br></div><p><strong>Role and

Responsibilities:

</strong></p><ul><li><p>Partner with Shiksha leaders to understand and address HR needs aligned with program goals</p></li><li><p>Induct and enable managers and senior managers across the breadth of Udhyam’s people management processes and philosophy </p></li><li><p>Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with state regulations and organisational standards</p></li><li><p>Work closely with the central HR team to ensure consistency in HR practices across the organisation</p></li><li><p>Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs</p></li><li><p>Support organisation-wide initiatives, such as employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and talent management</p></li><li><p>Respond to general queries from managers and employees, signposting them to the appropriate policies and procedures</p></li><li><p>Be the first point of contact for all shiksha employee needs including, addressing employee concerns and facilitating conflict resolution</p></li><li><p>Identify training needs and facilitate the development of training programs</p></li><li><p>Mitigate legal risks by addressing employee relations issues in a fair and consistent manner</p></li><li><p>Utilize HR analytics to assess key HR metrics and provide insights for data-driven decision-making.</p></li><li><p>Collaborate with Shiksha team to create and maintain a positive work culture that fosters growth and engagement</p></li><li><p>Hire for Shiksha needs</p></li></ul><div><br></div><div><br></div><p><strong>Essential Skills, Experience & Mindsets :</strong></p><ul><li><p>Experience as an HRBP, preferably in the nonprofit sector, with a focus on education initiatives.</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of HR practices, employment legislation, and trends.</p></li><li><p>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.</p></li><li><p>High degree of ownership and a bias for action with willingness to be hands on & frugal</p></li><li><p>Ability to work with ambiguity and innovative ideas </p></li><li><p>Ability to build strong relationships and influence key stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work with multiple teams and manage specific asks and requirements</p></li><li><p>An independent thinker and people problems solver, able to navigate uncertainty</p></li><li><p>Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.</p></li><li><p>Willing to travel to different locations like Uttarakhand, MP, Punjab, Maharashtra etc </p></li></ul><div><br></div><p><strong>Desirable Experience and Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor's or Master’s or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field</p></li><li><p>Experience in the areas of Organisational Development , Compensation and benefits, Data analytics and budgeting </p></li><li><p>Developing HR strategy and Team management </p></li></ul><div><br></div><div><br></div><p><strong>Location:</strong></p><p><strong>Delhi/ Gurgaon/ Chandigarh/ Dehradun</strong></p>
