Our goal is to bring fusion electricity to the grid by developing the power stations of tomorrow and the skilled workforce to deliver them.

    About the job

Join UKAEA as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator for a period of 10 months and help deliver a smooth, inclusive recruitment experience that connects talented people with opportunities to contribute to the future of fusion energy. You’ll play an important role in keeping recruitment campaigns moving efficiently and creating a professional candidate experience from vacancy launch through to interview. It’s an opportunity to build your recruitment experience in a fast-paced environment while supporting UKAEA’s ambitious mission.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    • Publish high-quality, inclusive job adverts that attract a diverse range of candidates and support fair recruitment.
    • Coordinate pre-screen and panel interviews for candidates in the UK and overseas, including virtual and in-person arrangements.
    • Arrange interview schedules, meeting rooms and additional assessments in collaboration with hiring teams.
    • Support candidates throughout the interview process, including welcoming them and ensuring appropriate feedback is provided before and after interviews where required.
    • Follow up on vacancy and offer approvals to help recruitment activity progress within agreed service levels.
    • Raise requisitions and purchase orders for recruitment advertising and other Talent Acquisition requirements.

    What You’ll Bring

    • Practical recruitment administration experience
    • Competent IT skills and experience working with online systems and digital platforms.
    • Experience maintaining accurate records and processing administrative activity using established systems and procedures.
    • Experience working in a customer-focused administrative environment, supporting people through defined processes.

UKAEA is an onsite organisation, and this role requires regular onsite presence (usually between 3-5 days in any given week) in line with business needs. We actively support flexible working arrangements where this is compatible with the role.

    Benefits

We have a generous range of benefits (see the full list here) and highlights include:

    • A salary of £29,328
    • Up to 7% corporate performance bonus
    • Final salary defined benefits pension scheme with an equivalent of 21.5% employer pension contribution
    • 25 days annual leave plus 2.5 'privilege' days; 8 Bank Holidays
    • Additional 3 days of site closure over Christmas break
    • Flexible working options plus family-friendly leave provisions

    Our commitment to ED&I

UKAEA's mission is clean energy for all, and we welcome talented people from all backgrounds to help us achieve this goal. We are committed to equality, diversity, inclusion and accessibility, and strive to ensure fair representation across our workforce.

Please email [email protected] if you have any questions or require adjustments to help you participate fairly in our recruitment process, for example changes to the way we interview or share information. As a Disability Confident Employer, we are committed to providing an inclusive and accessible recruitment experience for all candidates.
