Here
- Maintain and operate a variety of CNC equipment on the production floor.
- Make adjustments to ensure parts are meeting quality requirements.
- Able to demonstrate good manufacturing practices.
- Safely utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machines.
- Responsible for loading parts, operating controls, setting offsets, simple edits, deburring, and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements.
- Able to interpret drawings, manuals specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, sequence of operations, and requirements.
- Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly, and performing basic preventative maintenance functions of the equipment.
- Maintain quality records.
- Communicate with supervisor, engineers, production control, quality, and other shop personnel for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 2 years related experience.
- Technical / trade school training or equivalent preferred.
- Knowledge of computer operations and applications.
- Must be able to read and comprehend engineering drawings, sketches, and verbal and written communications to accomplish the job at hand.
- Experience in manufacturing aerospace and medical - grade components.
