Paint & Assembly Operations Supervisor– 1st Shift

Janesville, WI | Monday–Thursday | 4:00am–2:00pm | OT as Needed

United Alloy is hiring a 1st Shift Operations Supervisor to lead production in our Paint and Assembly Department in Janesville, WI. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on safety, accountability, and hitting daily production goals in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and develop paint and assembly production teams on the shop floor
• Set daily production goals and hold teams accountable
• Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met
• Be present on the floor — remove barriers and support your team
• Coordinate across shifts to maintain production flow
• Review timekeeping, approve PTO, and manage attendance
• Support training, coaching, and progressive discipline when needed
• Drive continuous improvement in welding and fabrication operations

What You Bring

• 6+ years of production leadership experience
• Strong understanding of shop floor production environments
• Ability to read blueprints and use basic shop tools
• Experience working with overhead cranes (preferred)
• Strong communication and accountability mindset
• Proven leadership in driving performance and culture
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required | Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
