Anticipated Time Commitments:
1. Doing ministry/preparing for ministry: 8 hours a week
2. Participating in meetings/training: Monthly and as scheduled
Responsibilities/Duties:
1. Organize communication with parents regarding all information, upcoming ministry events, etc.
2. Plan quarterly meetings encouraging the attendance of parents for open house events, youth conferences etc.
3. Plan opportunities for parents to volunteer times of service and/or donate snacks and materials for special events.
4. Inform and update Youth Pastors of parent questions and/or concerns
5. Have excellent customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills, and self-motivated.
6. Ability to learn and balance a variety of assignments.
7. Must be collaborative and an effective team member and team builder.
8. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive issues. Initially receive general information about concerns, and then direct information to the Youth Pastors and/or appropriate staff.
9. Demonstrate strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment. Providing proactive, resourceful, and efficient responses. Assesses the urgency and importance of situations and acts accordingly.
10. Demonstrate strong decision-making ability, and attention to detail.
11. Have open availability to assist when needed.
12. Attend all staff meetings and scheduled youth events unless advanced notice has been given.
13. Maintain communication with the Youth Ministry via text, email, GroupMe, etc.
