Anticipated Time Commitments

• Doing ministry/preparing for ministry: nine (9) to ten (10) hours a week (7:15am – 1:30 pm Sundays and 6:00pm – 8:30pm Wednesdays)
• Participating in meetings/training: two (2) hours a month

Purpose

The purpose of the Camera Operator is to assist in the video requirements of the worship experience – Sunday and Worship services and special events.  

Responsibilities/Duties

Duties of the Camera Operator include:

• Operating the camera for church services (8am, 11am, and Midweek Renewal).
• Capturing the musical and speaking portions of services.
• Maintaining attention throughout the service.
• Executing specific camera moves and functions under the Media Director’s guidance.
• Engaging in scheduled training to review the footage with the director.
• Based on availability, capturing special events such as Good Friday, Christmas Production, Christmas Eve, etc.

Physical Demands

The Camera Operator must possess mobility to work in a stage environment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include vision to see a video monitor, color vision and depth perception; hearing and speech to communicate in person. The Camera Operator must also frequently use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, controls. The Camera Operator must possess mobility to walk up and down stairs.
